![]() I made a list of what I knew we should focus on to make the most out of this shopping trip and we got most of it. * I recommend the Buckeye ice cream (peant butter/chocolate- YUM) at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory & special thanks to the Steam Cafe for custom making my picky boys their favorite- butter & peanut butter sandwiches. ![]() All of this is so we can “show & tell” you first hand about our experiences at Lodi Station Outlets. They armed each of our families with one/ $100 Visa card to shop the outlets, a Swag Bag (gift bag) of products and info from some of the stores, they fed us lunch from the Steam Cafe and ice cream cones from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and gave us a ride on the train. Lodi Station Outlets wanted us, bloggers and our families, to see and experience a variety of what makes Lodi Station Outlets the place to find great prices, great products and family fun. Another of my favorite brands to shop at Lodi Outlets is The Children’s Place.īoth of those stores had good deals going on but I found myself buying at some stores I usually don’t. Jockey is one of my favorite brands and I find the lowest prices on what I want right in their outlet store. Our family occasionally shops there so Lodi Station is a bit familiar to us, it’s probably about a 45 minute drive for us from Canton. Last weekend (Father’s Day weekend) our family participated in a VIP Blogger’s Event at the Lodi Station Outlets in Lodi, near Burbank, Ohio (Medina area). I will not return to this place.Lodi Station Outlets has been voted *Ohio’s Best Outlet Shopping Center for the 2nd year in a row and is the ONLY Outlet Shopping Center that features Vintage Train Rides in the Nation! *Voted by the “Official Best Of” web site for 2010. I was grateful to have made it out of there without causing damage to my rental car. If there is indeed another, I have never seen it, nor have I ever been directed to it via signs, gps or any other obvious signs of guidance. The GPS on any device I have ever used going back as far back as one can go has only brought me through this entrance. I did not see any signs stating that this was a non public entrance. The only road I am aware of to gain access to this shopping center is this pot hole filled frightening path. The shopping center claims (as I read from previous reviews) that this road is used as a service entrance only, but this is not at all true. The long road entering the shopping area was covered in large pot holes, with orange cones throughout. The building exteriors had pealing paint and were badly in need of repairs and basic sprucing up in several areas. The other very obvious clue that this mall is on it's way out is the building and land maintenance was non existent. The few stores that I went inside, were either advertising that they were clearing their inventory to move to new locations, or they did not have much stock. I was however disappointed to find at least half (if not more) of the store fronts were abandoned by previous retailers who obviously bailed on this location. I decided to take a drive over to the Ohio Station Outlets in search of some great buys. I moved out of Ohio many years ago, and returned a week or so ago to visit family. I remember this Ohio Station Outlets from over 25 years ago when it was a hopping fun outlet mall with an active kiddie train, lots of shops and an abundance of happy shoppers. It is right next to 71 so there is easy access. There is not much outside the location except a few fast food places. There is only a few fast food food places you find elsewhere. It is an outdoor plaza mall so keep that in mind for the weather.Įating choices are limited. All you are seeing is a ride around the shops basically advertising the stores. Unless you have small children skip the train. Many of the stores offer a discount if you get a savings card which is free. What you need to do is get a flyer from the customer service counter near the food court. The prices you see are what it sells for for the outlet store. You can find good prices but not everything is a bargain. They also give item to charity that can't be sold anymore but still can be used.Īnother thing here don't expect a large amount of staff in the stores. A store in a mall will rather reduces the prices their old stock rather than shipping it to a outlet store. ![]() People don't seem to realize what it takes to move merchandise around and the expense. You will not always find the same selections you get in the main stores and department stores. You are not finding merchandise from a mall store being sent here. The merchandise you find here is made for and priced for this type of location. The thing to keep in mind here these are outlet stores. It is a shame that about a third of the retail spaces here are empty. A good place for shopping but it is a bit out of the way.
